Celebrate in Wandsworth
Right on the Thames in the heart of Wandsworth, The Ship is your riverside pub for crisp autumn afternoons, cosy winter evenings and long lunches that have a habit of rolling into one more round.
Settle in by the fire, or grab a spot overlooking the river with a pint, a glass of red or something warming in hand. Inside, you’ll find that proper pub atmosphere we are known for – lively, welcoming and full of Wandsworth locals come rain, shine or sideways London drizzle.
Please note that as an over-21s pub on Friday’s from 5pm and Saturday’s from 3pm, we have set family visiting times in place for little ones on board.
Simon and the crew can’t wait to welcome you down, see you soon.
Every Sunday roast at our pub is a proper, plates-piled-high affair. Expect giant, table-dominating Yorkshire puddings (seriously, they barely fit on the plate), top-quality British meats cooked low-and-slow to juicy perfection, and the undisputed hero of the roast: our golden-crackling-outside, cloud-soft-inside roast potatoes (these are non-negotiable).
Then there’s the rich, glossy, boat-emptying gravy (yes, we encourage over-pouring). Whether you’re gathering the family, rounding up friends, or simply craving the best Sunday roast near you, this is your sign to book a table.
The Autumn Nations are back at The Ship Wandsworth, and we’re showing the biggest international rugby fixtures live on screens inside and out.
Grab your shipmates, claim your spot and settle in for every tackle, try and questionable “REF!” from the comfort of your favourite riverside pub in Wandsworth. Expect big screens, cracking match-day food, cold pints and a Thames-side setting that’s hard to beat.
Rugby on. Shipmates assembled. Pints at the ready.
Got something worth raising a glass to? Round up your shipmates and celebrate at The Ship Wandsworth, with bookable spaces inside and out for birthdays, engagement parties, work dos and all of life’s very good excuses for getting the crew together.
With the Thames as your backdrop, cracking food, party-worthy drinks and spaces for gatherings big and small, consider us your trusty crew for pulling off a proper celebration. You bring the shipmates, we’ll take care of the rest.
All aboard – explore our private hire and party spaces in Wandsworth.
Christmas in Wandsworth is officially on deck. Round up your favourite shipmates for festive feasts, mulled wine by the fire and Christmas parties that have a habit of sailing well past “just the one”.
Planning the office do, a long-overdue festive get-together or the big day itself? We’ve got Christmas party packages in Wandsworth covered, from cracking festive menus and bubbles-and-canapés celebrations to a proper Christmas Day lunch with all the trimmings.
And with the Thames on our doorstep and Wandsworth Town station just a five-minute walk away, getting the whole crew together couldn’t be easier.
Big flavours. No faff. Just proper shack food done right, right here in Wandsworth.
From double-stacked beef burgers and chilli-loaded favourites to southern fried chicken and bratwurst dogs, this is the kind of menu that doesn’t hold back. We’re talking crispy wings, curly fries, and sharers built for the table, not the plate.
Grab something indulgent, load it up your way, and settle in by the river.
This is our Ship Shack. Come hungry.
